PipeModo, operated by Blue Litus LLC ("PipeModo," "we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Google Sheets add-on, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By installing, accessing, or using PipeModo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Your name and email address from your Google account when you install and authorize PipeModo.
• Payment Information: When you purchase credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive a transaction ID, amount, and last four digits of your card. We do not store full credit card numbers.
• Support Communications: Information you voluntarily provide when contacting our support team, including email content and any attachments.

2.2 Google Workspace Data

When you run workflows, PipeModo accesses and processes data from your Google Sheets as follows:

• Cell values you explicitly select for workflow input (e.g., names, emails, URLs, company names, domains)
• Row and column identifiers to write results back to the correct cells
• Spreadsheet ID and sheet name to identify the active document

Important: We only access the specific cells and ranges you select for processing. We do not read, scan, index, or access your entire spreadsheet, other tabs, or any other Google Drive files. Data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers beyond the time necessary to complete your workflow execution (typically seconds to minutes).

2.3 Automatically Collected Data

• Usage Data: Workflow execution logs (workflow type, row count, timestamps, success/error status), credit usage, and feature usage patterns.
• Technical Data: Browser type, operating system, IP address (anonymized for analytics), and error logs for troubleshooting.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information solely to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• Process your workflows and deliver results back to your spreadsheet
• Process payments and manage your credit balance
• Send essential service-related communications (e.g., usage alerts, billing confirmations, security notices)
• Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing profiling, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Service.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy

PipeModo's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only request access to Google user data that is necessary to provide or improve the Service's user-facing features.
• We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, including retargeting, personalized, or interest-based advertising.
• We do not sell Google user data to third parties.
• We do not use or transfer Google user data for purposes unrelated to the Service.
• We do not allow humans to read Google user data unless: (a) we have your explicit consent, (b) it is necessary for security purposes (e.g., investigating abuse), (c) it is necessary to comply with applicable law, or (d) the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
• We transfer Google user data to third parties only when necessary to provide the Service, as required by law, or as part of a merger/acquisition with user notice. All third-party recipients are bound by data protection obligations at least as protective as this policy.

5. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

To provide workflow features, we share the minimum data necessary with the following categories of third-party services:

5.1 Data Enrichment Providers

When you run enrichment workflows, the specific cell values you selected (e.g., email addresses, domain names) are sent to providers such as Apollo.io and Hunter.io to retrieve enrichment results. Only the data fields required for the specific enrichment operation are transmitted.

5.2 AI Processing Providers

When you run AI-powered workflows, your selected cell data and workflow instructions are sent to AI providers (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) for processing. These providers process data according to their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5.3 Infrastructure and Payment Providers

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud infrastructure for hosting and data processing. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly; we never see or store your full card number.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We contractually require our service providers to protect your data and prohibit them from using it for any purpose other than providing services to PipeModo.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

6. Data Retention

• Workflow Input/Output Data: Processed in real-time and not retained on our servers beyond workflow completion (typically under 5 minutes). Results are written directly to your Google Sheet.
• Account Data: Retained while your account is active and for 90 days following a deletion request, after which it is permanently deleted.
• Usage Logs: Retained for up to 12 months for analytics, debugging, and service improvement. Logs do not contain your spreadsheet cell content.
• Payment Records: Retained as required by applicable tax and accounting laws (typically 7 years).
• Support Communications: Retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, then deleted.

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@pipemodo.com. We will process your deletion request within 30 days and confirm once complete. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required by applicable law (e.g., tax records).

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• All data transmitted between your browser, Google Sheets, and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS 1.2+
• Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
• Role-based access controls and multi-factor authentication for all internal systems
• Regular security assessments and vulnerability monitoring
• OAuth 2.0 token management with minimal scope requests
• No storage of Google API refresh tokens beyond active session requirements

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify affected users and relevant authorities of any data breach as required by applicable law.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Restriction: Request that we restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data for certain purposes.
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
• Revoke Access: Revoke PipeModo's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions settings.

9. OAuth Scopes and Permissions

PipeModo requests only the minimum Google OAuth scopes necessary to provide the Service:

• Google Sheets read/write access: To read your selected input data and write workflow results back to your spreadsheet.
• User profile (email, name): To create and manage your PipeModo account and associate your workflow history.

We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive (beyond Sheets), Google Calendar, Google Contacts, or any other Google service. We request permissions contextually and explain why each permission is needed before you grant it.

10. Children's Privacy

PipeModo is not directed to children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@pipemodo.com, and we will promptly delete such information.

11. International Data Transfers

PipeModo is operated from the United States. Your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers maintain facilities. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country of residence.

Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this policy.

12. Cookies and Tracking

Our website (pipemodo.com) uses essential cookies to maintain session state and user preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or cross-site tracking technologies. Our Google Sheets add-on does not use cookies.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice via email to the address associated with your account at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the updated Privacy Policy takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
